Don’t accept an inexpensive bowie using a partial-tang blade. Bowie knives are built to be used and abused, along with a partial tang bowie won’t hold up. Go full-tang. And be sure the grip offers a decent diameter that feels fantastic in hand. Smaller diameter handles minimize the amount of torque
